Job Fair to Strengthen Saint John Region’s Tourism & Hospitality Workforce

SAINT JOHN, NB - Envision Saint John: The Regional Growth Agency and the Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick (TIANB) are collaborating with AREA 506 and Port Saint John to host a regional Tourism & Hospitality Job Fair on Thursday, March 13, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Port Saint John’s Marco Polo Cruise Terminal.

This event will showcase a range of employment opportunities in hotels, restaurants, attractions, and other tourism-related businesses, offering both full-time and seasonal roles. Attendees will have the chance to meet with local employers, submit resumes, and explore career pathways in this vital sector of the region’s economy.

“The tourism and hospitality industry is a key driver of our region’s economy, and connecting job seekers with employers is critical to its ongoing success. This job fair is an important initiative to strengthen our workforce and ensure businesses have the talent they need prior to heading into the peak tourism season,” said Daniel Rito, Director of Population Growth and Workforce Development at Envision Saint John.

There are more than 140 job seekers signed up to connect with 23 employers.

“We are excited to partner with Envision Saint John to support workforce development in the tourism sector. This event is a fantastic opportunity for both employers and job seekers to make meaningful connections that will contribute to the growth of the industry in New Brunswick,” said Marcia Laplante, Workforce Development Coordinator at TIANB.
