New Brunswick is experiencing a population boom – growing by more than 40,000 over the past five years, including an increase of 15,000 people over the last 12 months and hitting 800,000 residents!

The province is seeing the highest rate of population growth since 1976.

The Saint John region is a major part of that growth – seeing a 3.5 per cent increase in population as 4,411 people moved to the area increasing the regional population to 130,613 according to the 2021 Statistics Canada Census.
