SAINT JOHN: Representatives from Air Canada met with the Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce and Envision Saint John: The Regional Growth Agency today to share the addition of new flights between Saint John and Toronto for the fall of 2022.

As of October 30, 2022, there will be two daily direct flights between Toronto and Saint John, as well as better connections and same day returns.

“The additional air access between Saint John and Toronto announced by Air Canada is an example of results that come to life through community collaboration,” explained David Duplisea, CEO of The Chamber.

“Together, Envision Saint John, The Chamber, and the Saint John Airport are working as strategic partners with Air Canada to rebuild confidence in the market,” according to Paulette Hicks, CEO of Envision Saint John.

Duplisea shares how Air Canada has strong roots in the region, including their Call Centre, Air Canada Vacation and their Travel Agency business. “We look forward to continuing this work and enhancing our partnerships with Air Canada.”

The Envision Saint John sales team is out in full force, says Hicks. “We have 10 large conventions already booked for 2023/2024 – we will continue to develop offerings that align with our priorities of attracting visitors, business and residents.”
