Envision Saint John Appoints Andrew Beckett as Interim CEO

SAINT JOHN, NB (September 5, 1023) — Envision Saint John: The Regional Growth Agency is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Beckett as its Interim CEO. This appointment signifies the agency’s continued commitment to fostering growth in the Saint John Region.

Al Walker, Chair of the Board of Directors, remarked on the announcement, “Andrew has the necessary skills to lead Envision Saint John through this transition, and we eagerly anticipate the innovation and drive he will bring to the role.”

On his appointment, Andrew Beckett expressed his enthusiasm, “I’m thrilled to be able to join my family back in Saint John. I view this position with Envision Saint John as a unique opportunity to reconnect with the community and to provide leadership in an area of significant importance to the region’s future.”

Born from a unified vision, Envision Saint John was established to foster growth within the community. The organization is comprised of the City of Saint John, towns of Grand Bay-Westfield, Hampton, Quispamsis, Rothesay, Fundy-St. Martins and the Fundy Rural District. While each municipality holds its distinctive identity, all share a mutual aspiration for sustainable development.

Guided strategically by an independent Board of Directors, Envision Saint John is supported by a robust mix of business and academic leaders, in addition to municipal and provincial investor representatives.
